Happy Birthday Scrappy!!

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
We are ar moms and it's not turning out to be a great birthday thing. I'm tired. M is tired. Mom is tired of Dad. And she keeps making little comments about stuff under her breath. We just ended up having sandwiches for lunch and she made her own. I hear "I have to make my own sandwich. Happy birthday to me." And stuff like that.
Happy Scrappy Day!
Yay to the power of Power!
Jen, I would say that over-mellow is the right amount of mellow when dealing with a fucky schedule.
Theo, are you considering getting a new roommate?
We are home. I'm planning to do something nice for moms birthday just tbe 2 of us.
I'm ready for a nap
Anyway, I'm not even cranky, I'm just kind of over-mellow almost to the point of, eh, whatever. I guess that's better than being a stressball. I dunno.
Sounds like a good place to be IMO.
Yay Power!!
We are home. I'm planning to do something nice for moms birthday just tbe 2 of us.
That sounds like a better plan.
Did housework this morning, then went and caught some rays on my sister's dock. Tonight is the community Meet & Greet at a local tavern so I will be getting ready for that soon. Very much looking forward to DH getting here. Plan on going to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake on Wednesday, which is super fun and relaxing. Also want to plan on a "pizza cruise" on Raquette Lake soon too. They have various dinner cruises, but I think the pizza and root beer float one sounds more fun than prime rib and wine. Who knows what else. I want to keep him occupied on fun stuff rather than him getting involved with the construction projects. I know he packed his car detailing stuff, which I would object to, except me car is gross and needs his attention.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Scrappy!
We are going to the Jimmy Buffett concert tonight, which should be interesting. It's outside, so at least Gary can walk around with Mr. S when he gets bored.
I need to do a bunch of housework. I did manage to take the dog for a walk in the arboretum. Gotta do dishes and laundry and some general cleanup.
Also spent some money I shouldn't have, but what the heck. I can afford it it's just kinda silly to spend money on more trading cards. But whatever.
Tomorrow, a craft fair and a soccer game!
Whoosh. Had a near miss today. I left my phone in the cart at Costco, which is also my wallet. I turned around as soon as I could and went back but no dice. Went inside to see if someone turned it in and they checked all the places but still nothing. Finally the Costco lady called it and it was picked up right away. She asked where they were - they were literally at my house dropping it off.
A good lesson in keeping your info updated, and in people being pretty decent on the whole, even though it sometimes seems otherwise.
Wow Brenda that is scary but lucky!! Yikes. Glad people were good.
Whoa, good luck on that one, Brenda!
