and now I’m at the hospital in observation.
Glad you are getting medical care but it stinks that you need to be observed. Hopefully you can be released all clear soon. Maybe with a little band-aid and icepack.
meara, 108 is a legit reason to bail. I live in the desert. I'm saying it's a legit reason. The cool nights sound lovely and being on the water is nice but 108 is really hot especially if you are not acclimated to it. After a migraine, I wouldn't recommend it but if you go, hydrate and keep your electrolytes up.
Pig sorting it out ~ma.
Cat scanned waiting on results.

I don't know if a Buffista has managed to turn such an innocuous action into an injury since Ginger tried to keep Deb's cat from getting out and face planted and chipped her tooth.
I hope your noggin's okay! That's where you keep your spicy brains.
Noggin~ma, msbelle. Let us know what they have to say.

Yes. Getting dehydrated after a migraine is not a good plan. Also, experience tells me people tend to get grumpy and bad moody when it is super hot so may cause friction too.
Scan is clear. They don’t want me driving. Waiting to get wound dealt with but I am finally in an ER room.
Geez, msbelle! I'm glad the scan is clear -- meaning, not a concussion? I hope they can treat your wound quickly and get you home to chill and be comfortable.
meara, do not camp in 108° weather, please.
We just had a lovely late lunch with a friend, and now I'm going to see Thor solo. I haven't been to a movie alone in a long time. Kind of exciting, and only three other tix sold so far, so I'm feeling pretty good Covid-safety wise.
Yes clear scan means no concussion or bleeding, I think.
I am getting some staples put in and then can go home.
Oh jeez, msbelle! Glad you got helped and are OK.
Don't go camping in 108 degrees, meara! I just spent a couple of hours outside in 97 and that was too many.
In related news, I went to the movies by myself just yesterday! I love it.
msbelle-- you can have a clear scan and still have a concussion. Have you had trouble focusing your eyes? That happened to me and I didn't realize it at the time what was going on...also because I was really confused feeling. Concussion symptoms can sometimes show up later ..even days later . So keep an eye out for things like:
headache, light sensitivity, ringing in your ears, dizziness, vertigo. nausea, blurry vision, fatigue, irritablitity, outbursts of emotions, concentration problems etc.
