msbelle-- you can have a clear scan and still have a concussion. Have you had trouble focusing your eyes? That happened to me and I didn't realize it at the time what was going on...also because I was really confused feeling. Concussion symptoms can sometimes show up later ..even days later . So keep an eye out for things like:

headache, light sensitivity, ringing in your ears, dizziness, vertigo. nausea, blurry vision, fatigue, irritablitity, outbursts of emotions, concentration problems etc.

I really hope you don't have a concussion msbelle but if you do start feeling off or if you have clusminess (also a symptom of a concussion) then you will want to call your doctor. They can't do that much really but if you have bad dizziness or nausea there is medicine for that (although it will make you sleepy).

Staples in your head is pretty metal

I am home. They opted for glue not staples. Once they cleared all the dried yuckiness and my hair it was like two puncture wounds and abrasions and nothing was still bleeding, so GLUE!

Yes askye the PA said due to my 5+ hours in there for observation, they could rule out a bad concussion, but I might have a mild one. I’ll be staying home tomorrow and am just eating and putting on an audio book. I won’t be on much because I don’t want to tempt the screen nausea.

meara, 108° is too hot for camping.

My primary activity this weekend has been reading and adjusting blinds and fans depending on where the sun is. Most of my produce is going to go bad because I don't want to use the stove/oven.

Timelies, to everyone! Been doing a lot of reading, not posting. But miss you all. Was at a get together tonight where SDCC came up and we talked about fandom, and I spent many minutes waxing poetic about this community and my found family here. More than one person said that we are lucky to have found each other and still be here and be strong, so I thought I would share with you all and remind you how much I love you.

Oh, sure, be all reasonable. It's meal kit stuff that's all roast this, sautee that, sear the other. I should try to work out ways to microwave some of it though. And maybe try the George Foreman thingy I've never used.
