Ooh s little electric car would be nice for city living. And now that we have a garage we’d have a place to plug it in.
At 7:30 thus morning I began the final cleanup for the kitchen and nerdhole and was just finishing at 9:15 for the floor guys to arrive.
It only took half an hour to rip out the old floor.
Tired and sweaty start to the day

I was able to take a shower at the house. And Matilda is on her new fancy bed watch How To Train Your Dragon on her laptop.
But basically we have survived hell week.
Gonna be a scorcher today.
I've elected to work from the office at least part of the day because they're shutting off the water in my building, which I assume is due to the apartment next door being renovated going by the incredibly loud construction noises.

I've had the Tesla for 3 years and love it more every day. Haven't had to do anything but change tires and add windshield washer fluid. When I open the hood the cap for that fluid is the only thing there! I did replace the 12V batter that runs the small stuff, but it was just a warranty replacement thing that the car said I had to do because it was time, but it never caused an issue. Dealership did it in a few minutes for free. With 300 mile range I've never had an issue with finding charging on my trips and just have a regular RV type port at the house to charge. LOVE my car!
I have a 2022 Kia Niro EV (not hybrid), and it's awesome! Highly recommend. I had a Bolt before this, and they are comparable. I get about a 250 mile range on the Niro.

Since we don't know when Mr. S will come home, our Florida trip is in limbo. Gary needs to go down there to take care of some things for his dad, but as for the rest of us....
In other news, we have a new door for Mr. S's room in place. This one is solid wood. (The previous one was hollow, which made it easier for him to destroy.)
The report we were told to expect Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning just came out. Yay.

Work people are still not great but it’s Friday and I’m at a bar with my dog having a sour beer and sweet potato fries while I wait for an oil change, so life ain’t bad.
Well, I just got what I immediately needed done so it's fine, but I had two meetings earlier this week where I could have used this information so it's kind of crappy. And I have already had a beer at home (while still on the clock, such as it is, don't tell) so I don't care so much. Beer & dog & fries sounds excellent!
