Well, I just got what I immediately needed done so it's fine, but I had two meetings earlier this week where I could have used this information so it's kind of crappy. And I have already had a beer at home (while still on the clock, such as it is, don't tell) so I don't care so much. Beer & dog & fries sounds excellent!

Since I’ll need to commute from the new house on the north shore (MA not Oahu!) back down to Westchester County often, I’m considering an electric car next. It’s heartening to see these longish distance capabilities now!

He’s packed a lot of life into those few years. I’m hoping and praying that the doctors are able to help your family find some workable solutions and peace.

I am by god being productive this morning. Sort of. I woke up at 7am which I don’t love, but managed to make some breakfast and meet a friend for a walk, and then go to Lowes and get a new hose and irrigation timer (now that I paid plumbers $250 to fix my hose spigot!) and figured out a way to get my dog to stop peeing on the window and making it stink inside even with the window closed (and am hoping the enzyme stuff helps the current reek). And weeded a bit (not enough) and just stuck laundry in and am about to do the dishes. Then a shower (it’s not hot but it’s humid as hell) and then off to a neighborhood pride event with a friend. With a stop at the pharmacy and at Costco. And maybe the beauty supply for more purple.

I also seem (fingers still crossed) to have dodged covid for the third time in three weeks. My friend was like “you’re neo dodging bullets!” But I almost want to get it over with so I don’t miss something more important??

my yard sale was 2 weekends ago, Neighbors that had many bags of stuff, but did not have a sale themselves as they were feeling bad said they would contact charity to pick up from both our porches all the bagged leftovers.

Last weekend, since it had not been picked up, I asked them what the estimate was, they said they would be calling last week.

Still no pick-up.

Since I am just hanging out today, I decided to quickly post some of the bulkier items on FB marketplace and see if I could get a couple of bucks. Just sold one of my things (as opposed to the things donated by others that $ is going to charity) for $5. It also happened to be the biggest single item out there, YAY.

And I scheduled the pick up myself so I won’t get any more annoyed.

Productive day. Went to nursery and bought window box flowers and a shepherd's hook for more flowers up front. Planted the stuff. Hung a wine glass rack, which I repurposed as a pot and pan rack by adding screw in hooks and hung some pots over my stove clearing some cupboard space. Made a curried cauliflower and chicken instant pot dealio. Now going to the movies with sister and great nephew. Bob's Burgers? I have wine in my travel cup. (family theater and they really don't care)

super quiet here.

I have had a very homebody weekend.

Today I was up earlyish, watched some tv, did some knitting, had my knitting zoom, walked the dogs and now back to knitting vlogs and knitting.
