You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.
I have to clean the kitchen before I can leave for the weekend - going to hear Eileen Ivers in Mount Vernon, with required stops at the Co-op and a drive out to Pelican Bay Books - and this seems excessive.

Thankfully, the schedulers took the hint that my follow up was kind of time sensitive, so I still got in with the Dr this morning, 40 minutes later than originally planned. CT scan yesterday. It's technically not 100 percent certain it's cancer, but very probably. But also probably very early stage. Either way, pretty certain the treatment is hysterectomy. Which I'm pretty ok with - I'm not using my uterus for anything anyway. First appt with oncology is April 7.
And now I gotta get to work. I'm running thru my sick time like nobody's business here lately.

Sounds like it was caught early, and treatment at that stage is quite successful. In my experience uteruses are more trouble than they are worth! It was clearly a poor design choice in evolution. Sending the most effective treatment ~ma.
What is the plural of uterus? My computer gives me red squiggles on that one.
