Drinking last night was so fun but such a bad plan….especially after getting a deep tissue massage. I took medicine so my head doesn’t hurt but my whole body aches, especially my shoulders which are all messed up and which she was doing painful things to.

Well crap. My aunt's partner, Jack, has covid. He just turned 80 and had a heart attack inuncle's.
My aunt has been exposed, but also both my uncles. So far they haven't tested positive.
This is my dad's siblings and Dad hasn't been around any of them.
It looks like Jack got it when he went to a conference in Texas. So far Jack has been having mild symptoms.
If anything happens to them...my family doesn't need that.
Damn Covid.

Well I splurged today, and ordered a new couch! I have hated my old leather couch for years, and I'm so excited to get my new custom couch with blue velvet upholstery.
Sounds great! I also got a blue velvet sofa last fall. Perhaps this is the new Buffista thing? We can eat muffulettas on them (with or without olive loaf, as the spirit moves us).

My aunt has Covid. She was the caregiver for my grandmother so she was just getting her life together and was feeling stronger and better after the grief really took a toll on her.

Too many people still getting Covid. I hope this helps convince some of the vaccinated to wake up. This is still the only solution. At least they seem to be doing a bit better with treatments.
The way this instructor is leading the class makes the whole thing feel like a trick question and I'm feeling very "too old for this shit" about it.)
I get this, but I hope some level of completeness keeps you pushing through. Good to hear that work improving has balanced it out.

I'm invested in completing the degree (especially since I only have one semester to go after this) but not at all invested in continuing with this class. I just keep telling myself the actual *grade* doesn't matter.

I don't speak French, but one article I read said that Putin is pronounced "poutine" (until, possibly recently), since the pronunciation using the standard French would be "putain" ... "freedom fries" anyone?
