trouble getting motivated to do anything. I'm feeing really unsettled the last couple of days.
I'm going to try and jumpstart things with a shower.
Anyone feel like an accountability text group or zoom today?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

(Especially because the easiest route to get promoted is through a job I have zero interest in doing)
Maybe ask her ideas about that?
We finished our review period last week. Apparently there is a function in the system where you can tag people and ask for direct feedback. I only know of one person who used it and the person she tagged was super weirded out by it. (Her feedback wouldn’t have been all that positive, which is part of it.) I do ask around for feedback on my team but not in any way that assigns someone a task or puts them on the spot.
We don’t see the results of the reviews now until mid March. The ways of HR are mysterious and confuzzling.
I’m so sorry Laura. I selfishly hope you don’t go though. It’s so hard these days.

I had to look back to make sure this wasn’t me! A job opened up at the University which I am very well qualified for (probably the best internal candidate), but it is 100 percent supporting a program I am good at, but actually hate.
Timelies all!
Gary took Mr. S to a nearby Carter's to try to get him some pants. (He keeps wearing the same pairs, most of which are too small, have holes or both.) He didn't find any he liked. Gary promised they would go to Target for toys as a reward for going, so Mr. S is playing with bright orange slime.
I ended up going to the funeral. We arrived just after the viewing portion and since all the main seats were filled ended up in the comfy big seats on the side (away from the crush). Stayed for the service and then went to the cemetery, so really most of it was outside, or at least well distanced. All were masked. Apparently we missed the "crowning ceremony" where they placed a tiara on her head. Not sure if that was a religious or cultural thing, but I will ask her daughter another time. I'm glad I went. Her daughter is the one who drove me home after my surgery since DH had a basketball game.
Well, I used the blue dye I had sitting around and mixed it a bit with the periwinkle, and it worked really well! I need to go buy some more blue because there’s a few spots that didn’t get saturated because I only had so much, but overall it looks good!! Much better than gray roots.
Timelies all!
Wow, it's quiet here.
So how about those football games? Honestly, I am a playoff and finals kinda sports fan watching only at end of season for the most part. Of all the the seasons I have watched, this past weekend's playoffs were really exciting, although I did tell the guys from now on I won't bother to watch until the last couple minutes of the last games of the season. Good stuff there. Kinda wish I was on Twitter more as I hear the Rodgers tweets are hi-larious.
Happy Monday all! Did a lot of work this weekend since my brain seems to be reviving at last. Glad I did the funeral. Missed one up north of an old friend, but also another one who was ready. It is always sad, but when you know they were ready you are only sad for the loved ones.
Tom Brady lost in dramatic fashion. That's all I needed. The fact that Aaron Rodgers also lost is just icing.
