I happen to be very biteable, pal. I'm moist and delicious.

Our wings are not tired.

Tom Brady lost in dramatic fashion. That's all I needed. The fact that Aaron Rodgers also lost is just icing.

Absolutely the highlights right there. The last moment finishes on so many was pretty cool and verification that I don't have to pay attention the first 3 quarters, or more.

My city is riding the high of going to the AFC championship game. We don't know how to act because it's been so goddamn long since we've made it this far. Evan McPherson has been elevated to godhood status.

That was pretty godlike. They quoted him as saying they won the championship game before he kicked the goal. To have that level of confidence in what was surely the biggest game of his life, at his age. Yeah, impressive. Don't know anything about him so I hope he is a nice kid too.

I saw that -- before he went out to kick he said something like "Well, guess we're going to the AFC championship game." Love that confidence!

We have beaten KC in the past, but playing the AFC championship game in Kansas City is going to be a challenge. Still, holy shit, the goddamn Cincinnati Bengals are one game away from the Super Bowl. I seriously can't overstate how mind-blowing that is.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray for blue roots! And for Tom Brady losing!

Y'all, Tim has Covid again (Electric Boogaloo). We both took rapid tests Saturday before we visited his dad, and we were both negative. But he's had symptoms like a sinus infection for a few days, so he took a test again today before work and it was positive. I took a test and it was negative, so now we're trying to quarantine in our little house. It's kind of comical. I'm going to take a test again in a couple of days. I don't have any symptoms, although that's obviously no guarantee of anything. He's already let his dad's nursing home know he tested positive. But when we visit we have to wear masks (N95s) and face shields, so I think the odds are very low his dad would get it.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this again. Sending the ~ma for an easy time for Tim and continued negativity for you.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

That's the opposite of fun, Steph.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Y'all, Tim has Covid again (Electric Boogaloo)

His fucking shop! I swear to god.

Matilda had her booster shot on Saturday and is still having headaches and fatigue so she's staying home today.

Y'all remember how Scrappy has sex dreams with celebrities all the time? (Well, I do anyway, and I always felt jealous because I never do).

So I was having a very boring dream last night, and it was in a cubicle office type setting. Imagine that hyper mundane vibe of The Time Variance Authority. And my only pleasure in this dream was that my cube was out of sight of my supervisor so I could skive off.

Then suddenly standing next to my cubicle was Sigourney Weaver and some random dude. And they were doing some kind of improv exercise where they were high and paranoid and giggly and trying to hide from the boss. (And we're talking big perm era Ghostbusters Sigourney.)

Next thing I know Sigourney is crouched down in my cubicle below the sightline, making shush noises and waving me down next to her. And when I get down next to her she starts making out with me. And I thought, "Well, I'm not turning that down!"

That's as far as it went. But my brain now has the image of me kissing Sigourney Weaver and I don't regret that a bit.

His fucking shop! I swear to god.

Yeah, combined with immunosuppressant meds for his RA, it's not a great combo.

If I continue *not* getting it, I think it'll be interesting but statistically useless anecdata about how the vaccine + booster work (or, I guess, don't work) in immunocompetent vs immunosuppressed people.

But my brain now has the image of me kissing Sigourney Weaver and I don't regret that a bit.

Way better of a dream than getting a goat in the mail.
