Sometimes I type 4 when I mean f. Because it starts with an f? I think?
I type Nadine instead of The word name all the time! Because it is my name? So if I am making a worksheet where people have to enter their name, I have to triple check I haven’t asked them to enter their Nadine.
It took searching at 3 grocery stores, but I finally found my preferred chili mix and cooked up a pot for dinner this week. I had molasses on hand, so the flavor has turned out much better than my last attempt.
One of the things I've found about "The Repair Shop" is that I have to watch with closed captioning on. The people who bring in things to be repaired are from all over England and some of them have strong accents.
I've also learned that nearly every repair starts with a good cleaning. Something I should really take to heart.
I know kids from football concussions that had to go 1-2 months with no tv at all, so take it easy askye.
Yeah, when EM got a concussion it was 6-8 weeks before she was back to normal.

Especially anything with mechanical parts! Degrease and de-gunk!
Ha, ha, ha, oops! I was just doing an online yoga class (live) and forgot to turn off my microphone. It was a bit too advanced for me, so I said, "Yeah, this is not working for me," as I got up to log out. The teacher, mid-pose, goes, "And if someone has their microphone on, please mute it," totally in the flow of doing her pose. It was pretty epically poised, actually. Impressive. I'm slightly embarrassed that I made such a rookie Zoom flub, but mostly I'm amused.

Would be awfully nice if all the world had their own Nadine.

Ha! That did make me snort.
Chitchatting with my eldest this morning as he was moaning about -9F temps. Laughable for me having been raised in that environment, but hysterical for the one who spent his first 28 years in Florida. He doesn't know it but I bought him boots for his birthday. Fool is still walking around in basketball shoes. Anyway next month he is going to a Billie Eilish concert in Pittsburgh so I discussed the whole driving on insane hills on ice thing, since he really doesn't understand either. He has driven plenty in snow last year, but in a city with well maintained pretty flat roads.
Oooh, Discovery + has Rehab Addict, too. I may have to get that.
My old apartment was in the middle of a couple of hills (one along the front, one along the side) and every time there was snow I'd hear people spinning their wheels. Some people never learn to drive on snow. Or even get their cars out of the snow.
