So if I am making a worksheet where people have to enter their name, I have to triple check I haven’t asked them to enter their Nadine.
Would be awfully nice if all the world had their own Nadine.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I was just doing an online yoga class (live) and forgot to turn off my microphone.
Ha! That did make me snort.
Chitchatting with my eldest this morning as he was moaning about -9F temps. Laughable for me having been raised in that environment, but hysterical for the one who spent his first 28 years in Florida. He doesn't know it but I bought him boots for his birthday. Fool is still walking around in basketball shoes. Anyway next month he is going to a Billie Eilish concert in Pittsburgh so I discussed the whole driving on insane hills on ice thing, since he really doesn't understand either. He has driven plenty in snow last year, but in a city with well maintained pretty flat roads.
Oooh, Discovery + has Rehab Addict, too. I may have to get that.
My old apartment was in the middle of a couple of hills (one along the front, one along the side) and every time there was snow I'd hear people spinning their wheels. Some people never learn to drive on snow. Or even get their cars out of the snow.
We had our Three Year Vision Plan meeting today and I really did not know what to expect from it. About half was actually a motivational speaker. The actual "vision" part feels like science fiction, which I'm going to lean into because, hey, I like science fiction so that might work for me! Also finished my self-eval, a good couple of hours before the deadline, and feel pretty okay about it.
Still have a meeting scheduled with a customer this afternoon or I would be calling it a day.
I just try to avoid it, though I was actually pretty good at it when I was younger, now that I think about it. Well, I mean, I guess most people try to avoid it if they can... though thresholds for what is critical to do when it's snowing vary widely.
I never learned to drive in snow. I've only had to a couple of times and I just, you know, went very slow and hoped for the best. But I live at basically sea level in a temperate zone, a snowstorm would be quite a surprise.
My family lived in Louisville and, when I was five, moved to northern New Jersey. Louisville MIGHT get an inch or so of snow. First snowfall in New Jersey - 11 inches.
OK, I ran out of people food again, but I still have a little cat food and I have groceries ordered for pickup tomorrow after work and a plan to go to Starbucks before work (which means getting out of bed more than 1 minute before work so that will be a challenge but I CAN DO IT IF I TRY) so everything is going to be okay. And I feel weirdly energetic at the moment, like maybe I actually have been a little sick for the last week while telling myself I was definitely not sick just tired. Oops. But now better? So there's that.
Timelies all!
Mr. S has fallen asleep on the couch with Netflix running.(Some Pokemon show) I'd turn it off, but I think the remote is under him.
