On a side note my mom's brother was married for a long time, he and my aunt got divorced when his daughters were in their 20s to a woman who was only a few years older than his oldest daughter and who has the same name as Mom. To my aunt, however, she has become "wife-in-law" and my aunt just posted a selfie of the three of them saying Happy Birthday Wife in Law .

This is really lovely. I was very lucky that my parents loved me more than divorce conflict. My family has also kept my ex-aunt-in-law as family. Life is so much better when people can either co-exist or leave the other's orbit.

I am supposed to be driving up to Sacramento today, and to Portland tomorrow. But although I was worried about the possibility of i5 being closed in Northern California or Oregon, i did not anticipate it being closed north of Los Angeles!! Trying to figure best alternate route. Geez!
