Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

askye, that so hard. I'm sorry.

ISTG, I think I know (or know of) more people who've tested positive for Covid in the past 2 weeks than in the entire last 2 years. Omicron is not fucking around.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Which makes me smile that they can build that kind of relationship and support system.

This is really lovely. I was very lucky that my parents loved me more than divorce conflict. My family has also kept my ex-aunt-in-law as family. Life is so much better when people can either co-exist or leave the other's orbit.

I am supposed to be driving up to Sacramento today, and to Portland tomorrow. But although I was worried about the possibility of i5 being closed in Northern California or Oregon, i did not anticipate it being closed north of Los Angeles!! Trying to figure best alternate route. Geez!

Oh, wow, meara! Time for a scenic drive up the 101?

meara - Dec 30, 2021 7:52:01 am PST #11769 of 30000

I contemplated that but seems like it would be even long to drive up 101 and then over to Sacramento?

It is pretty slow going, as I recall, and not really the direction you want. You could cut over after you got past the Grapevine, though. Going east first might be better, although it'd be harder to avoid possible closures. Depends on how bad the snow is, I guess. Good luck!

Also, I have been looking at a meeting on my calendar this afternoon all week thinking the person who scheduled it (not me, for once) was not thinking straight and she just moved it to next week. Whew!
