I'm so sorry, askye.

I am supposed to be driving up to Sacramento today, and to Portland tomorrow. But although I was worried about the possibility of i5 being closed in Northern California or Oregon, i did not anticipate it being closed north of Los Angeles!! Trying to figure best alternate route. Geez!
Oh, wow, meara! Time for a scenic drive up the 101?
I contemplated that but seems like it would be even long to drive up 101 and then over to Sacramento?
It is pretty slow going, as I recall, and not really the direction you want. You could cut over after you got past the Grapevine, though. Going east first might be better, although it'd be harder to avoid possible closures. Depends on how bad the snow is, I guess. Good luck!
Also, I have been looking at a meeting on my calendar this afternoon all week thinking the person who scheduled it (not me, for once) was not thinking straight and she just moved it to next week. Whew!
And I've been not feeling great and kinda like I had a uti but deluding myself that it was just a painful bladder syndrome reaction to some things I ate.
No it's got to be a uti. I am not going to call me new Dr because I need to see someone before the 1st before my deductible rolls over . So now I'm waiting for Matthew to get up to drive me to the Urgent care .
Our sleep schedules are all messed up so I've also been missing taking my medicine and have to fix that . I'm not napping during the day but I have had some brain fog or just felt tired and then at night I can't sleep until 4 am or something and then I sleep through my alarm for my meds...
I'm sorry askye.
I found out one of my cousins at the Christmas gathering last week tested positive. On the upside she's already tested negative, so hopefully she wasn't too contagious by the time we saw her, and Mom and I were wearing masks whenever an immunocompromised cousin-in-law was near. (Said cousin-in-law is my biggest worry, as she stayed in the same house.) We're keeping an eye out for symptoms this next week though.
i did not anticipate it being closed north of Los Angeles!!
Yeah, the Grapevine closes when there is snow. The 101 will be a lot slower. You can try going up I15 to Kramer Junction and then taking 58 across to Bakersfield, but things can also get pretty dicey around Tehachapi. Not a lot of good ways north when I5 closes there.
You can get pretty far North on 395, but it puts you on the Eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas and eventually you'll be in some pretty bad weather in the mountains.
I have a uti. And I'm pissed at M's mom. It took a long time to go to walk in clinic and drop off prescriptions and M was hungry so we got fast food . M's mom wasn't here and we assumed she would have eaten.
But we get in and she realizes we have food and whines about where hers is and she didn't eat because she's broke and how was she supposed to eat anything.
Except we have tons of food. We have eggs from his sister's chickens. She could have had a pb & j or grilled cheese or tuna salad sandwich or chicken salad or tomato sandwich and that s just sandwiches. But no she whines and guilts Matthew to give up half his lunch. She would never do the same for him
