Hope Tim feels better quickly. Goes without saying that I hope the test is negative, of course.
Got the tree decorated on Sunday, and then I went to World Market this morning and got a tree skirt and a bunch more ornaments. I ordered a tree that was purposely more "sparse," because I hate having ornaments rest on branches below the ones they're hanging on. That may have been a mistake -- jury's out. I definitely didn't fluff the tree to my liking, but I'm not sure if I just don't have the hang of how it's supposed to look. We'll see. It was not cheap -- I will put more effort in to make it better. Just not quite sure how. I'll hit up the site tonight to see if other people have feedback or tips.
And I got my holiday cards. Always fun.
Negative~ma for Tim. I'd say 100% of the time I have tested I knew it was okay but civic responsibility made me do it anyway. Didn't regret it at all.

My sister called me to ask what "Let's go Brandon" meant because my brother had a sign that said that hanging at his house, and she is clever enough to know that asking him would likely be something she didn't want to do. I told her. Insert sigh. As I did so I could hear my liberal devoted Democrat mother saying "where did I go wrong with him", as she said so often the last few years before she died. She always blamed herself for our misdeeds, much to our amusement. My brother, not at all amusing.

We had several in person meetings today, and they were exhausting. Not bad, just a lot. I’m too used to working from my recliner, with a cat on my lap.

I guess I was taken with the spirit of msbelle over the weekend, because I just ordered a silver tinsel tree! It will apparently get here next week. Now I have to decide if/how I will get some real greenery into the house.
