Work has been super stressful and stupid over the last couple of weeks, in very complicated yet terribly dull ways with which Sophia can totally empathize but which I don't really want to inflict on anyone (poor Hec has already had more than his share, and is nearly dead of both rage-on-my-behalf and boredom), and it's going to continue for at least the next two weeks.

Work is being a shitshow wrt communication and coordination with the vaccine mandate and testing. I saw a draft of policy today and it mentioned things that we have not been doing (and we've been doing vaccine registrations for two weeks), things that the registration tech does not do (no one on the tech side is part of the policy discussions, I guess), and used incorrect language wrt FDA AUTHORIZED vaccines which was an issue previously and had been brought up then.
On the tech side, they pulled the employee list on 9/29 AND HAVE NOT PULLED NEW HIRES SINCE to get them into the vaccination registration system for validation.
