I could watch Mr. Loomy in all his competitive, bossy glory ordering around other people to do what he says to solve the escape room? That would be perfect. I'd pay double admission for that.
Heh. That would be FUN.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I'm not sure I could handle the pressure of an escape room.
I know I couldn't, which is why I'll never do one.
Right there with you.
I'd love to do an escape room with my brother & his family.

In the last 3 weeks I've been involved in 5 separate meetings and volunteer situations for which my employer has provided pizza. Too bad I can't eat pizza. Tomato allergies and dairy sensitivity suck.
Oooh, bar with a live feed of the escape room sounds great!
ETA Bummer aurelia.
I feel you, Aurelia. With added wheat sensitivity.
Also? I miss tomatoes. It's been years. They even smell dangerous now--alarm! alarm! goes off in my head when I smell cooking tomatoes. Peppers. Onions. But I would kill for two slices of white Wonder bread, a good dollop of mayo, salt, and paprika with sliced tomato. Well, I'd use harsh language.

Whew, totally different people. That sounds just awful.
Y'all -- on Ask A Manager, a boss who won't give her employee the annual birthday day off that everyone else gets because the employee was born on Feb 29 wrote back with an update! [link] Or not an update, but a continued assertion of the boss's rightness! It's the most bananapants thing!!
Jesse, I literally JUST commented on that post! (I'm SLB, who called the manager a lousy human being but also cheap and unfair. But seriously, time off IS part of an employee's total compensation package, so that employee is receiving less compensation than employees in a similar position whose mothers weren't silly enough to deliver on February 29. And that's some kind of bullshit.)
If they had this policy in my office, I guess I would get Jan 2 off every year, which would be amazing. Ridiculous, but great.
Dang. (a) what a weird policy and (b) how mean to be so literal!
