As for the political news, a rumor flew around that Curt Schilling had been arrested too, which would have been-- ::chef's kiss:: But apparently it wasn't true: he would have been named in the indictment (which I read), and he wasn't.
I saw that rumor and was very disappointed when they didn't mention him on the nightly news just now.

I keep seeing stories of colleges/universities where they have in-person classes and have to send everyone home because of infections.
I am interviewing student workers to work remotely. It is bizarro, but no one we interviewed is in the dorms, they are in nearby houses of five or so people just in case. I do tend to interview students junior and above.

I think that's a reasonable response. My stepdad was 100% serious that my mom should have made my brother pee in the yard. It's the being 100% serious about it that I think is insane.

I mean, I have peed in a friend's yard due to covid rather than going in their house to use the bathroom. Granted, only friends who have a big yard but only have one bathroom.

Really? It seemed like an overreaction to me (on my stepdad's part), but I didn't realize it was a thing people were doing. That was a hasty assumption on my part, and I need to adjust my opinion.
