The final count is 22 injuries, 2 hospitalizations, and NO DEATHS.
Seeing the pictures that really is miraculous.
I appreciate the concern for my family. Really we are more cautious than I have expressed. Four of us live together. I don't go anywhere, but DH and the kids are out and about. DH has gone to many doctors' offices and homes setting up their remote connections. They are being cautious. One doctor's wife made him buy his own computer because she didn't want him using her keyboard when he still has ER rotation. DH and our doctors discuss safety often as that is why he has set them up for telemedicine. My son and his wife still have to go to work 4 days a week and they avoid humans as much as possible, but they still have to go to work. My other son hasn't been to the house and I don't see him anymore because he works at a grocery store. He and the other workers do what they can but they are still out there with humans, so I don't get to see him. I used to drive him to work, but now his roommate does that for me.
None of us have any symptoms at all. We aren't sharing hugs or mugs. We wash hands and all that stuff. We sit outside and watch the sunset and exchange greetings with our neighbors that walk through the park, from the 50' or so it is to the street. There are a lot more walkers recently so many waves from afar and greetings and well wishes take place.
Yes, my SIL came to visit and we fed her. She did my nails, with her gloves on, which she always has worn. This time she had a mask too, which is a newer thing for her. She is having us soak off the NexGen in 2-3 weeks when the nails have grown out and we'll just clear polish them ourselves until she is able to open up shop again. We discussed that plan when she was here because we anticipated being more locked down soon.
So, pretty much I don't venture further than my driveway and only snuggle with the cats and dog. Sometimes DH would take me for a drive along A1A to see the ocean, although the beach is closed. That is over now as my city starts Stay at Home restrictions at midnight tonight. So driveway it is.
