Go Tom! Metallic stars of all shades!
I'm taking a sick day tomorrow. I still don't have a real fever, but the cough and pain-when-I-take-a-deep-breath are tiring enough that I don't think trying to work is a good idea. I feel like I'm malingering, though.
Behind the couch? Are we even ALLOWED to vacuum back there?
Go Tom!
I just found out that my last living uncle is in hospice with a respiratory problem, and word is he'll be gone soon. He's 90, and geography kept me from getting to know him well. But he seems like fairly good people, and I think the world will be a little less without him in it. So many individual worlds blinking out right now. And most all of them a tragedy for someone.
I'm sorry, Calli.
Look at you, Tom! I finally cleaned my bathroom today, so that's something.
-t, please, please, please keep a close eye on yourself. Cough and pain with breathing are
not good.
You are absolutely 1000% not malingering.
Oh yeah, I knew I had a third thing! It was what JZ said, -t.
Cough and pain with breathing are not good. You are absolutely 1000% not malingering.
And, to be clear, there are things other than Covid-19 that it could be that would still need a doctor's attention (bronchitis, walking pneumonia, good ol' pleurisy). So yes, please keep an eye on it.
So my uncle called and my cousin, who's 35 weeks pregnant, has Covid 19.
She sick but so far being treated at home. Tylenol is keeping her temperature at 99. Her breathing was already somewhat restricted by the pregnancy.
Her husband and 4 year old are on another floor of the house. They have no symptoms. She last saw her parents on the fifteenth and they don't either. It looks like she was exposed the day after I last saw her at her grandmother's funeral.
We're keeping it off social media (this doesn't count!) and the family phone tree is through her parents.
It's a big family and I knew this call would come eventually.
Oh man, Trudy. Best thoughts to all of them. How awful.
