Woe to the fucking wicked.

Meara, the important thing to remember when they ask is that you are completely homebound, and unable to go to places for things. Not the occasional dinner, not meeting for work, not anything. There can be an exception for church, but that's often it.

Ugh. That's ridiculous, Debet! Just because a friend can drive me to dinner doesn't mean I can get to a daytime PT appointment, or count on a friend every week or whatever. But I'll keep that in mind.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It absolutely is. They try to make a bright line, but it mostly just forces people to lie.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What Debet said. You don't have family nearby and you have no idea how you would possibly get to PT etc.

meara - In my case the doctor's office made the arrangements with the insurance, so you might see if your doctor can make it clear to them that you're house bound, no family nearby, etc. I suspect insurance will believe doctors offices more than their actual customers.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

There are CBD creams and patches for topical use, and they are fantastic.

I am so annoyed, because the CBD cream that worked for my intractable hip pain also caused my skin to peel off! I gave it to my mom. It was really helpful in terms of pain, though...

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I had to nope out of social media for large patches of today. I self-medicated with a small binge of What To Buy With A View on Netflix, a hot bath with tons of Epsom salts.

With my hot flashes so bad still (forever?!?), I have discovered I need to soak a hand towel in cold water and put it on my head in order to soak in water hot enough to tenderize my neck and shoulders. I'm sure the Romans did this, but I did for the first time tonight and it made a HUGE difference in pleasure. FYI.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Today, we have a smoke detector beeping because of low batteries. We don't have a ladder tall enough to reach it. No idea how this is going to work out.

What is even happening?

Oh no, Dana. Here's some safe-effective-ideas-ma.

In other fire news, a Fresno man, who was house-sitting for his parents, decided to blow-torch some bl*ck w*d*w jillifonts.

It did not end well.
