Today, we have a smoke detector beeping because of low batteries. We don't have a ladder tall enough to reach it. No idea how this is going to work out.
If you have a sporting goods store nearby, you could buy an assault rifle. They are pretty effective at silencing electronics.
I said "safe-effective-ideas-ma," Gud.
Bang on it with a broom handle?
Pretty sure we have to switch out the battery. I need an extendable robot arm.
This is 2018, surely you can get an extendable robot arm delivered by drone.
Maybe I just need a drone.
It's Halloween at work today, which is our favorite day. The ringleader in my area is surprised that people are reacting so politically to our theme, The Handmaid's Tale. Which is hilarious to me.
Blessed be the fruit.
DOJ has a man from Florida in custody for the bombings.
EDIT: Now they're saying he's arrested.
Crisis averted. It's a fire alarm upstairs, in one of the bedrooms. Much lower ceilings.
Ugh Dana, that's annoying. The first time the smoke detector went off in the one room in my house I realized the same thing and ended up going to Home Depot and purchasing a ladder (luckily it was daytime). That's been the only thing I've used the ladder for. It lives in my garage. What a waste.
