One of the banned members of a certain Clinton group on fb started her own group. Last I knew, they weren't accepting new members as they want to keep it small and a real community (there's about 200 currently, all women). If they open it up to new members, I will let you know.
Really they are more than neighbors, they are neighborfam. And Buffista-adjacent, they are DJ's aunt and uncle.
That would totally make them neighborfam.
I totally can't remember why the banned member got banned. All I remember was that it didn't make a lot of sense.
I've turned off notifications. TH left the group today, claiming the only support seen was in messages and people didn't have her back when she was being bullied. I saw people bending over backwards to try to soothe her feelings of being attacked all over the place while the people who were angry at her had their issues ignored and dismissed. And they're the bullies? Her leaving has meant others leaving in solidarity. Which I understand, honestly, but also...
I dunno. I despair sometimes.
Yes, Calli.
Bye, TH.
GP got banned because she was snarking about a dude she had blocked who'd been creeping on her and other members via PM. They were both asked to leave. She refused to go of her own accord. Dude in question was someone I couldn't stand either, initials MG. The dudes were another reason I left, frankly.
Oh, THAT dude. Yeah. Umm. Fuck that guy.
She's gone, but her final thread continues to be a shit show. It's kind of revolting.
Personally having a really shitty run of days, and I'm not sure what to do about it. The anxiety hasn't been this bad in 5 years. I feel stuck.
I always feel weird coming in here when I haven't been in a while, but I'm right there with you, Maria. As I just said in Natter, I don't think my AD (fluoxetine) is working anymore, i.e. I haven't showered in two days and can barely get off the couch.
Dear ones, please do what you need to in order to get unstuck.
I've been having panic attacks often. Two days in a row now, which is very unusual for me. Shit is overwhelming, but I'm trying to get a handle on it.
Amy, I meant to say, SSRIs can just stop working. It's a known thing. Awesome Doctor refers to it as "pooping out." Switching to another SSRI may be all you need to do, if the fluoxetine was working.
