Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

If you don't want to order color remover, AND if your hair is not too far off your natural color, you can also make a hair mask with Vitamin C tablets (about 3) and shampoo or dish soap. Crush up the tablets, mix it with the soap, put it in your hair, put a cap over your hair, and wait 45 minutes. It's worked very well for me with both permanent and semi-perm dye.

Condition the hell out of it if you do this.

Signed, has accidentally melted human hair wig wefts using this method.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Right, sorry, should have mentioned that. I condition the hell out of my hair any time I do anything to it, so I forget to tell people that. I condition with deep conditioner, rinse it, and then put an overnight conditioner on.

I was shocked at how badly it fucked up the wefts that I left in too long! I mean, it's treated hair to start with, but wow. The last time I had hair melt like that (on my head) it was a perm on top of hair that had gone through two boxes of color remover and a box of bleach. (Look, I was 14.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I decided to let my hair color grow out ... I picked the perfect time, since I only go out in a mask and see very few people. My co-workers, in our weekly Zoom meeting, don't look much better (except for one, darn her).

That's the ticket! Get a little pixie when the roots get to an inch or two and you're off to the races.

Sure ... soon as the salon opens ... with luck, May 15. And I'm not about to try cutting my own hair.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Tim gets his long hippie locks trimmed every 3-4 months, so he might be the only person to make it out of quarantine with more or less acceptable hair. But as soon as salons reopen (*and* I feel safe getting my hair cut), I am giving my stylist a ginormous tip.

Yes, I tipped her a good deal more than usual at my last haircut ... and will do as well if not better when they open up.

Thrive to spite them

My hair is finally growing out because stylists aren't "trimming" it too much after I say I'm trying to grow it out.
