I am thinking about getting a soft pull over bra to wear around the house some .I kind of feel self conscious going bra less around Matthew's mom . And also sometimes I don't like the way it feels to be bra less but I don't want to wear one.
I do wear underwire bras, I have some non underwire and neither of them are very comfortable for various reasons but I look better with the underwire and it's not terribly uncomfortable. Although the cheap old one I had on yesterday gave out on me and the wire came loose at the end of work. Luckily I didn't have to go too long with the wire poking around.

I have a lot of the Hanes Get Cozy racerbacks. I'm wearing one right now, in fact, AIFG.
I miss being able to not wear a bra at home, but until wet shirt is no longer the consequence, that's not really an option. In the before times, I would almost always wear an underwire, but they're a bitch for pumping and breastfeeding, so most of mine are much less structured.
PM Iv'e seen those and wondered how they would work. I'll have to get one, I think I see them at Wal Mart
Clothing hivemind advice for Matilda. She is looking for what I suspect is a unicorn: non-skinny jeans, real denim and not stretchy jeggings, that fit the small waist of a 5'1" teen with an already impressive hip/waist differential (Old Navy size 0 fits her hips but don't come close to fitting her waist without a belt, and even so they look like a bum by burlap sack). Does any such brand or style actually exist, or will we have to look for something vaguely in the neighborhood and then have it taken in?
Update: She found her unicorn jeans at H&M.
JZ/Hec, try the men's department.

Hip/waist ratio makes that a problem unless we have the extra funds to take to a professional for alteration (I am
not
good
at mending/altering heavy fabrics like denim). We did find a pair that works at H&M, but now I feel like we need to invest in another half dozen pairs in various sizes so she can move up as she gets taller, because of course now that we've found something that works and makes her happy they'll discontinue the entire line as soon as they find out.
Poshmark. Always try Poshmark.
JZ, are you still getting juniors (odd numbered) sizes for her?
I was pretty young when I had to move to women's (even numbered) sizes, for the exact same reason.
While she's still 5'1", you might have some luck in petite shops, provided there isn't a brand she's dying for.
