Whoa! I... I think I'm having a thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a thought. Now I'm having a plan. Now I'm having a wiggins.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I miss being able to not wear a bra at home, but until wet shirt is no longer the consequence, that's not really an option. In the before times, I would almost always wear an underwire, but they're a bitch for pumping and breastfeeding, so most of mine are much less structured.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Clothing hivemind advice for Matilda. She is looking for what I suspect is a unicorn: non-skinny jeans, real denim and not stretchy jeggings, that fit the small waist of a 5'1" teen with an already impressive hip/waist differential (Old Navy size 0 fits her hips but don't come close to fitting her waist without a belt, and even so they look like a bum by burlap sack). Does any such brand or style actually exist, or will we have to look for something vaguely in the neighborhood and then have it taken in?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Update: She found her unicorn jeans at H&M.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

JZ/Hec, try the men's department.

Hip/waist ratio makes that a problem unless we have the extra funds to take to a professional for alteration (I am not good at mending/altering heavy fabrics like denim). We did find a pair that works at H&M, but now I feel like we need to invest in another half dozen pairs in various sizes so she can move up as she gets taller, because of course now that we've found something that works and makes her happy they'll discontinue the entire line as soon as they find out.

What is even happening?

JZ, are you still getting juniors (odd numbered) sizes for her?

I was pretty young when I had to move to women's (even numbered) sizes, for the exact same reason.

While she's still 5'1", you might have some luck in petite shops, provided there isn't a brand she's dying for.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I will back up Cindy. Juniors (odd number) are both straighter cut and actually longer (I think the fit model is generally 5'7", while Misses is 5'5" and misses petite is 5'2").

What is even happening?

Ah, Sophia, I should have said "Misses" right? Is "Women's" code for plus sizes?
