(And two people on Twitter just tried to hire me to do genealogy for them, but I don't have time for that now, but hey, that's a thing I could do, if I need to do something different.)
Hil, fwiw, I would hire you to do that. I'm sorry you're having to deal with all this workplace bullshirt.
Closing on the condo is on Thursday, which I oddly don't have much anxiety about -- having a place that's mine feels calming. I hate renting and always being scared of breaking something.
I don't think that's odd -- that's how I've always felt about owning a place. Nobody can kick you out, nobody can just walk in, nobody can tell you what to do.
In petty whiny news, nobody is listening to me lately (not just ltc) and I'm annoyed beyond belief.
Hell yeah, sj, nothing is more annoying. Scattering caltrops by their bedside and ignoring their screams is probably a bad idea... right?
I'm currently hiding in my room while ltc watches a movie. Waiting to see how long it takes her to notice.
TCG has another meeting tonight, and I'm so ridiculously exhausted.
She noticed when her movie ended.
I'm sorry, sj. We'll listen to you!
I'm sorry, sj.
I made it through today. Kind of collapsing from pain and exhaustion now. Well, after eating some leftover spaghetti.
I hope you can rest tonight, Hil, and feel better tomorrow.
I'm trying to figure out how to walk in an aircast in a half-way efficient manner. I need a taller shoe for my other foot to start with. Presumably I'll get used to it in the next 4-6 weeks. My brother's SO, who is a nurse, sent me an article on tendinopathy which included nutrition info for promoting collagen production and everything I've been eating anyway fits the recommendations.
Definitely get something the same height as your boot, or you will fuck up your hip.

What is it? I could use that info, and I bet meara could too.
The tendonitis in my ankle has hurt worse and for longer than the broken bone did!
My walking boot (as opposed to them sittin' boots) was so tall I had to wear a platform sole chunky heel regular boot to match it, and they made me six feet tall. The first time I walked into the doctor's office in them, the receptionist gasped out loud.

Here's the link to the article. [link]
I typically wear Docs and they are not nearly tall enough. I may stop by the costume shop to see if they have any platforms that would fit me.
