Definitely get something the same height as your boot, or you will fuck up your hip.
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is it? I could use that info, and I bet meara could too.
The tendonitis in my ankle has hurt worse and for longer than the broken bone did!
My walking boot (as opposed to them sittin' boots) was so tall I had to wear a platform sole chunky heel regular boot to match it, and they made me six feet tall. The first time I walked into the doctor's office in them, the receptionist gasped out loud.

Here's the link to the article. [link]
I typically wear Docs and they are not nearly tall enough. I may stop by the costume shop to see if they have any platforms that would fit me.
I will admit, swaggering around in platform boots that made me really tall felt good. (The swaggering was because I couldn't walk straight.)
My walking boot (as opposed to them sittin' boots)
These boots are made for walking,
and that's just what they'll do.
And some day these boots
are gonna walk all over you.
Love that song.
There's a story behind Nancy Sinatra's recording of that song. When she first approached it, she was advised to sing it in the voice of a 13-year-old girl in love with an older man. It didn't work, to say the least.
Then one of the producers pointed out that Nancy wasn't a child. In fact, she'd been married. So he suggested that she sing it "for the truckers out there." She did, and the rest is history.
And it's now playing on my radio....
aurelia, could you get inserts for your shoes? The kind RDJ wears to be Tony Stark?
Oh, that's what my dr recommended for my tendinitis (thanks for that link, aurelia, very interesting), inserts. I picked up some "lifts" that are 1.5-2" thick and fit ok in most of my shoes, if that would be enough to raise up your other leg in line with the boot. I think they make thicker ones but I haven't tried them.
