Well, I checked my credit report. That "delinquent account" was one car payment that was 30 days late in 2015. It asked me if I wanted to dispute it, but I honestly have no idea whether it was actually late or not -- it was right around the time that I was moving to Ohio, so I was transferring money and addresses and a million other things around, and it very well could have been late. Oh well.
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
If you need to worry about your credit before it drops off your history, you might contact the company and ask them to pull it off, since you've been such a good customer, etc, etc. For a one-off, they may be willing
Hi, Zen!

It looks like it'll drop off in a few months, and the only thing that it'll affect before then is my mortgage, and there's not really time to do anything for that, I don't think.
Also, because I apparently suck at getting things done on time, my drivers license expired a few months ago. All the Ohio paperwork says that I can still renew it if it was less than six months ago (which it was), but that I can lose my license if I drive with an expired license. So, should I take an Uber to go to the license office, just in case?
Yes. I know people who have been arrested for driving with an expired license in the DMV parking lot when they were on their way to get a new one.
Ugh. Thanks.
Hil I hope you can get your license renewed and your mortgage approved smoothly.
Day 2 of work. I met more of managment. Didnt get something done supervisor asked because I was busy helping customers and just watching how the staff interacted. And learning the stock room. There are some issues that need to be addressed including talking bad about the supervisor on the sales floor with customers present.
I didn't say anything because it's day 2 and I'm not a manager so I am not sure the exact approach but I wanted to tell them to change the subject and then pull each one aside and tell them it was inappropriate and I don't want to heat it again. Complain off the clock or at least in the stock room.
I need to ask the best way to explain what my standards for the department are in terms of visual but also how they act.
I came within 12 inches of getting myself a little orange kitty boy yesterday.
It had been raining, so all was damp and chilly. I heard something that definitely wasn't a bird. I go check it out. I am sure it is a young kitten in distress, but I can't find it. Then I check behind the BBQ grill, and there he is, clinging to the fence and screaming. If my arm was a little longer I could have snatched him up. He starts racing up and down the driveway, crying. How I wished I could make it better for him! Such a little fella, only six weeks or so.
I get some kibble and put it out. I hear crying a little farther away. He had gotten across the neighbor's back yard and was running back and forth. Suddenly he saw the right spot in the back fence, darted through and was quiet. I hung out for awhile, but I think he had found the way back home. He didn't make another peep.
DH and I were incredibly disappointed that we didn't get a kitty who walked up to our house needing our love.
Perhaps our positive reaction to this visitation means it's been long enough since we lost our Mishka, who remains irreplaceable because he was the World's Best Mishka, my familiar and best beloved.
Awww, kitty! I hope kitty is home safe and sound. Yes, it is time to find a kitty needing a home.
Aww, Katie, any kitty would be so lucky to have you.
Speaking of kitties and love, I found this shirt that I think Windsparrow and Harvey would love:
