Awww, kitty! I hope kitty is home safe and sound. Yes, it is time to find a kitty needing a home.
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Aww, Katie, any kitty would be so lucky to have you.
Speaking of kitties and love, I found this shirt that I think Windsparrow and Harvey would love:
I've tried several times to look for a kitty, but I just can't pull the trigger and commit. They never look right, somehow. That's why it was awesome to have Ellie walk up to our door and make friends with Sophie through the glass. Fate favored our cat family that day!
I have a lot of unreasonable demands for my next cat. I want a polydactyl with a puffy tail and blue eyes that I can raise as a bottle baby so it will imprint on me like Sophie and Pearlie have.
Probably the puffy tail is going to be the easiest to find.
Thanks for saying a kitty will be lucky to have me. I really do want them to be happy and secure.
Most of my animals have found me. When the time is right it happens. I may have to get a dog soon though because Brendon is just too lonely without his truck companion. When he picks up is keys to go for a ride somewhere he gets a jolt every time that no one is wagging a tale to join him.

Idea, brilliant. Execution? NSM. 95% polyester. Too much sweat in that sweatshirt.
I have have only vague ideas of what to do about purposefully going out and getting a cat. I mean, I know that shelters and rescues exist. I know the names of the local ones. I know which pet stores foster rescues. And I know how to use a phone to make appointments to talk to people for foster-based rescues. I'm guessing that's what you do. But my cats have always chosen me. If one does not simply show up, and we end up going to a rescue, I don't know if I will end up accepting any little gesture as a "choice".

I know what this means. I had a polydactyl cat (although we just called it "doubled-pawed"), but polydactyl will never not look like some kind of dinosaur to me.

This is where I'm at. I've looked around on Petfinder and stuff, but other than once finding one amazingly perfect specimen that, upon closer examination, was in Cincinatti (really, Petfinder, on what planet is Cincinatti "near" San Diego), it's never felt right.
We've been looking on Petfinder off and on, because Vlad needs a kitten to play with, as Miss Erzabet No Biting is done with his crazypaws chase, pounce, and general bro antics. Mr. Loomy really, REALLY wants a grey boy kitty, which are surprisingly hard to find in the Seattle area.

Natural camouflage.
