Just heard back from the agent, and the three apartments she suggested were exactly the three that had been my top choices from Zillow, so that seems like a good sign. With all of them, I wasn't sure whether or not there were stairs to get from the parking lot to the building, so I asked her to look into that.
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Emily, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He sounded like a wonderful person. Please let us know if we can be of any help.
Thanks, Vortex. He was pretty awesome. There's not much help to do unless you have advice to offer about doing probate accounting, or can get me a job. But I appreciate it anyway.
Dad of Emily sounds like my kind of guy. I'm so sorry you guys had to go through all that.
My advice for settling an estate would be to consult professionals, for I know nothing of that process and dread the day I have to deal with that project.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Emily.
I'm sorry, Emily. I've enjoyed reading about your dad and it was lovely to follow your reports of spending time with him these past few years. Wish I had advice on the probate or job situation, but all I have is loving ~ma for this most difficult life transition.
"Keto" is a diet developed to treat a very severe, and relatively rare, form of epilepsy. The name and ideas of what the diet entails have been taken over and corrupted by the diet industry.
100% The social media Keto stuff is really frustrating. I had researched nutrition factors after I had the seizure 5 years ago. I never had another one, but the articles stuck in my mind. The reasons for my choice didn't have to do with the seizure history, but the diabetes history. I do see a Nutritionist monthly and she is thrilled with my numbers. Mostly her big focus is tons of water and organic foods. She makes me track all my food so she can make sure I am getting a good nutrient balance. I expect once my sugar and weight numbers are within good ranges that I will start to add back more carby foods. I've ended up skipping breakfast and just eating lunch and dinner and a couple snacks a day because breakfast without oatmeal and fruit is just sad for me. Not that big a fan of eggs every day; that gets old fast.
Nice validation from the new agent, Hil. It will be very helpful to have her to research your specific questions. And having a solid list of what you want is very helpful for her. It will be so nice to be away from the annoyingly intrusive landlord.
That's awesome you're working with a nutritionist, Laura, and getting good results!
Yes, I feel more confidence with the nutritionist. I'm 65 this month and don't feel it would responsible to make such a radical diet change without professional monitoring. I will see my PCP probably in May. Well, I see him all the dang time working on their systems, but for the whole physical thing.
Thanks Lisah and everyone else. I did think I should ask my PCP first, so I guess I will. She's very straightforward, so I trust her to steer me right.
Katerina, I would love to work with a professional, if they would ever answer my emails! Feh.
