That's awesome you're working with a nutritionist, Laura, and getting good results!

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yes, I feel more confidence with the nutritionist. I'm 65 this month and don't feel it would responsible to make such a radical diet change without professional monitoring. I will see my PCP probably in May. Well, I see him all the dang time working on their systems, but for the whole physical thing.
Thanks Lisah and everyone else. I did think I should ask my PCP first, so I guess I will. She's very straightforward, so I trust her to steer me right.
Katerina, I would love to work with a professional, if they would ever answer my emails! Feh.
Emily, it's lovely to see your pixels, even if I'm very sad about the reason for it.
Emily, I'm sorry for your loss. He sounds like a really interesting man.
Emily, that has sadly been my experience trying to interface with the powers that be. Nobody ever replies.
I say, do not give up. Keep asking until you find some helpful answers. Wave money around if you have to. Information will be worth the effort you put into it.
I might ask how you did when I have to deal with settling an estate.
Hugs and kisses, since I am soooo much older than you are.
I miss my fancy colored hair, so I've been looking at temporary home coloring stuff, emphasis on the temporary. Like, I'd be fine with a spray or something if it doesn't come off on anything it touches. What do people like?
Just went with the realtor to look at a few more apartments. None of these ones would work, accessibility-wise -- one had "just a few stairs" that the seller's agent hadn't mentioned, one had no stairs but had an ancient elevator where opening the door required both arms and a not insignificant amount of force, and the other had no stairs, but it had its own entrance at the back of the building, and it didn't feel like it would be safe at night.
So, she's looking into the first one I looked at to see if it or any others in that building are on the market, and she's going to send me a couple more suggestions.
As you look she should also start to get a better sense of the things that are important for you and what appeals to you and should be able to refine searches. It's frustrating. I remember how dejected Pix and I got at points trying to buy last year.
