Elton John...amazeballs, if anyone was unsure. Lee and -t rock like rocking things that rock. As goes Jameson.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
^^ Not remotely surprised!
I am super excited. Going shopping with my son today. DIL's birthday is next week and we are doing the engagement ring thing. They get married in July. Anyway, I discussed with DH and he agreed so today I offered him my diamond. We'll move the gem into a setting of his choice for her, and I will replace into my setting with either a pearl or amethyst, not sure which yet. Thinking pearl because it would be quite classic in my setting. So delighted that he thought it was as good an idea as I did. My heart is full thinking of her wearing the gem I wore the last 29 years.
Laura, you are a DREAM of a MIL. I'm so happy that *you're* so happy about the upcoming wedding (and how great DIL is in general).
That's such a lovely idea, Laura. I'm glad your son is pleased to give his love his mom's diamond.
Laura = ♥
What a wonderful sweet idea, Laura!
ION three cats are mesmerized by the birds on Cat TV. I should have thought of this sooner. Murray is climbing the entertainment center trying to get the birdies. Some smalls may hit the floor but it's worth it.
Laura, that is lovely
Atropa, that is a whole 'nother layer of ugh
Love hearing about the Elton John show
Well that was time consuming! We were at the jewelers about 4 hours. They had to cut off my rings since I wore a 4-1/2 ring size when I got married. That was a hundred pounds ago. They said it will be a few weeks before the finger smooths out and they can resize my rings. So I have time to consider what to get for a replacement. Finger looks pretty warped right now.
He was thrilled when I suggested it to him, and obviously he is able to get her a much nicer ring with the diamond donated. Knowing her as well as I do I am quite confident she will be over the moon about having my diamond.
Long story on me getting my set in the first place involving me doing the computer work for a jeweler. It was a trade in from an antique a lady brought in while I was working there. The jeweler today said he could tell about how long ago it was by the cutting technology. At least over 70 years ago. He'll get it Monday.
Yes I am blabbering because I am all emotional. eta: I thought it was super cute that I had to go with him to pick out her setting.
I still have the "scar" from the ring I got married with over thirty years ago. I had to take it off when a cat claw caught it and the scratch got infected, and by the time it healed up, the finger had happily expanded to take up the space. That was ten years after we got married, and I still have two lines circling that finger. They please me.
