What a wonderful sweet idea, Laura!
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
ION three cats are mesmerized by the birds on Cat TV. I should have thought of this sooner. Murray is climbing the entertainment center trying to get the birdies. Some smalls may hit the floor but it's worth it.
Laura, that is lovely
Atropa, that is a whole 'nother layer of ugh
Love hearing about the Elton John show
Well that was time consuming! We were at the jewelers about 4 hours. They had to cut off my rings since I wore a 4-1/2 ring size when I got married. That was a hundred pounds ago. They said it will be a few weeks before the finger smooths out and they can resize my rings. So I have time to consider what to get for a replacement. Finger looks pretty warped right now.
He was thrilled when I suggested it to him, and obviously he is able to get her a much nicer ring with the diamond donated. Knowing her as well as I do I am quite confident she will be over the moon about having my diamond.
Long story on me getting my set in the first place involving me doing the computer work for a jeweler. It was a trade in from an antique a lady brought in while I was working there. The jeweler today said he could tell about how long ago it was by the cutting technology. At least over 70 years ago. He'll get it Monday.
Yes I am blabbering because I am all emotional. eta: I thought it was super cute that I had to go with him to pick out her setting.
I still have the "scar" from the ring I got married with over thirty years ago. I had to take it off when a cat claw caught it and the scratch got infected, and by the time it healed up, the finger had happily expanded to take up the space. That was ten years after we got married, and I still have two lines circling that finger. They please me.
Awwww! That's super-sweet, Laura!
I take mine off every night because I don't like to sleep with rings on.
Yeah, it had been at least a decade since I was able to get them off. I used to take them off to sleep, but stopped at some point.
This year is our 5-year wedding anniversary (HOW? how is it 5 years???), and I'm going to get myself a sterling silver wedding band with Tim's fingerprint from these folks: [link]
That's extremely cool, Tep.
