I seem to not be able to take any pharmaceuticals, but I can drink limited amounts of alcohol! (and smoke pot)
I had issues with finding my words for years to the point where my family got used to just giving me the word I wanted. I hadn't thought about it, but the problem seems to have gone away. These years of proactive stress relief and brain puzzles may have helped. Shiny!
Dana, if you can find Spindrift brand flavored fizzy water near you, it is VERY delicious, and doesn't have added sugar or artificial sweeteners. (It's sparkling water and fruit juice/puree, but somehow tastes fancy and yummy.)
Ugh, just got an email that I have to change desks next week. Perfect timing, since we're being inundated with stuff people are trying to finish up before the holiday shutdown. The new desk is a slightly different configuration, so I have to figure out my stuff, and I have A LOT of stuff, so I should lose at least 2 or 3 hours to this move. Yay.
If everyone's okay with moving to Germany, this could be Buffista Village:
Alwine Germany, a village with about a dozen buildings and 20 mostly retired residents, is for sale, the auction is this weekend, bids starting at $147,000. That's amazing. I'm going to watch the auction and see how much it ends up going for.
How's their healthcare system? Better than ours, obviously.

It exists, so yes.
(I'm concerned about buying residents?)
Germany is good. DH lived there for several years and loved it.
I'm all proud of myself. DH had a basketball game to coach and the kids were tired from work so I went to the city boat parade all by myself. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it would have been a lot less effort to stay home and skip it. Had to stand on the bridge for 45 minutes before the boats arrived but I chatted with the bridge master and cops and other festive citizens. The weather was grand, which helped.
The residents are not for sale, as far as I know. But apparently the houses they live in are.
I like Germany.
I'm good with Germany. I like Angela Merkel.
I love boat parades. Would not mind Germany, I think.
