I don't really have a security blanket... unless you count Mr. Pointy.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

DH#1 had a vasectomy. It was quite a relief since no birth control methods worked well for me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's s pleasantly domestic image, Tep. Ice packs and all.

brillig

I don't know why I'm so surprised at how good I feel now that I've finally had a full weekend and my wrenched shoulder is mostly healed up. It's like having had a chance to sleep and relax and not being in pain is a good thing.

That's always so surprising, isn't it? I'm always surprised.

I suck at parenting today.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm sure you don't. You may be having a hard day, but you're still a good parent.

Thanks Dana. I was, I think jokingly, told by ltc's teacher today that maybe I shouldn't show up early anymore because the minute I arrived ltc was awful. I needed another mother to help me get her in the car because she threw herself on the ground. And now she is napping in the car while I sit in the parking lot of a coffee shop because she fell asleep and I'm not capable of carrying her into the house asleep.

Oh dear, it sounds like she was overtired. Both drop off and pick up at pre-school was an issue with the boys. Didn't want to go in, didn't want to leave.

Aw, that sounds rough sj, but it also sounds entirely not your fault.

Drop offs are fine. Pick ups are awful. She never wants to leave. We're home now.
