Time for some thrilling heroics.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

What everyone said, Suzi. I wish it wasn't so hard. Big hugs and an "I'm here" if ever want someone to text (or FB message). Also, not sure if this will help you, although it did for me -- when I was working at home all the time, I made sure to get out of the house and work twice a week, if I could. Just Panera or Starbucks or whatever, but it helped.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

But I think you've gotten past the hardest part, which is getting in to see your doctor. It WILL get better from here. Not as quickly as you'd like, but it will get better.

I think Steph is right, and wise.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Suzi, sounds like you've made that all-important first step. Not saying the next bit won't be a slog. But I know you're strong enough, though I'm sorry that you're going through it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(Makes giant ((non threatening!)) hug gesture) Inertia sucks so hard--I'm dismayed by how many of us deal with it. It just. Well, it sucks. Suzi, may you and your doc arrive at a workable solution very quickly.

Jilli, I agree. You don't owe him any sort of response (except a repelling/warding gesture, should it help you feel better).

I'ma go...over there, and put all my parentheses in a drawer, for now.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I was way behind and now I'm caught up.

Hello.

Jilli, that's so sad about StuntHusband. I had a real fondness for him and was bewildered when things went pear shaped here. Glad you can talk to us about what happened, and I'm so sorry. As for your abusive ex... I hope he lives a long life alone with his regrets. And don't forget that a protective ring of Buffistas is also an option for dealing with fuckos.

Suzi, hon, I'm sorry you're in that place and glad you have an appointment.

flea, I am so annoyed that your director places "looking friendly and approachable" over staff safety. Annoyed, but not surprised.

I just ate a ton of Halloween Joe Joe's and gave myself acid reflux, which is not going to help with anxiety. I think I just need to go to bed and reboot for tomorrow.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Suzi, I'm glad you are taking care of yourself. It is a hard thing to do when depression is in play.

Okay, I dropped the kitty off at the vet, who is also going to trim his Wolverine-like claws and give him a microchip along with the neutering. Ice packs for everyone!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

After work yesterday i did the dishes, made myself dinner and took it up to my room. I was in bed by 8:30 and asleep not long after that. Crowley woke me up with snuggles and puppy kisses.

I just got caught up here and your words of support are extremely appreciated. I'm a bit teary but in a good way. Once again, Buffistas rock beyond the telling of it.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope the good sleep helps the day, SuziQ.

How is Tim doing, Teppy? I hope he didn't tell kitty what was in his future.

He's sore, but not unreasonably so. The doctor told Tim he could go back to work today, but he already scheduled today to be off work, which I think is a good thing. So he's loafing around reading comic books while I work.
