I blocked him because I was getting frustrated with the conversation, not because it caused me any trauma (though it was fairly agitating, but my bar is set kind of low for agitation these days). The best way to bail on that frustration is to physically not be able to see the conversation, so -- blockage. (And blocking him prevents *me* from continuing to argue as well, which was also a good idea.)

I'm not going to jump in and give him another woman to not believe, but I'm really aggravated at his attitude and dismissal of people who don't meet his ideals of proper dialogue.
