Epic, thinking of you and your mom. I hope things improve today.
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Epic, I hope today is a good day for you and your mom.
Epic, so much ~ma for you and your mother. I'm so sorry.
Epic, all ~ma for you and your mother.
Epic, all kinds of ~ma to you and your mom. Please take care of yourself too.
Vibing hard for Mom of Epic.

Is the Nexium not helping anymore, Steph? But yay for Awesome Doctor and the antidepressants! Ack -- sorry for the sky-high price. Fingers crossed you can find something affordable that works well.
I sent Awesome Doctor* a message through MyChart this morning, and suggested Celexa or Prozac. My problem is that I keep having allergic reactions to ADs (Zoloft, Lexapro, Cymbalta) or they make me crazy (Wellbutrin), so it's getting harder to find something that works and isn't super expensive. Fingers crossed big time that Celexa or Prozac will work without too many side effects or an allergic reaction.
The Nexium helped to a degree, but didn't get rid of the pain totally. And now I have a lot of nausea on top of the pain, and pretty much zero appetite. Apparently the location of the pain isn't typical for gallbladder issues, but after all the tests I've had, gallstones are the one and only thing that the tests found. So I guess if the surgeon recommends it should come out (and I assume he will, because that's what surgeons DO), then I'll do it. I'm just afraid it won't help.
I'm so tired of feeling like this, and so discouraged.
*(I hadn't seen Awesome Doctor in several months or more, and he had lost some weight, so I told him he was looking good. He said that he gets up at 3:30 a.m. to work out so he can be at the hospital by 6. I think that I literally recoiled when he said that. I can't even imagine.)
My doctor keeps telling me things like "There are people who have gotten rid of their diabetes by only eating 30 grams of carbs a day." I'm going to go off on him he brings that up again. I will not micromanage my relationship with food to that degree,.
I hope the Celexa or Prozac work, because those are super cheap and probably always covered.
