Steph, I don't know what the original drug is, but next time you get an expensive one, check that drug's website for coupons. I take Lyrica and it would normally be $65/month, but with their coupon it is $25. Much more manageable. I tried the generic, thanks to a demand from my insurance, and the side effects were bad.
Crossing my fingers for your Prozac. It has really helped Jack (yes, the dog is on Prozac). But seriously, I know a bunch of people who take it with great results.

Even with the manufacturer's coupon, it was over $250. I just can't do that right now. Not unless there are literally no other choices.

My doctor was a little concerned about Celexa since I had an allergic reaction to Lexapro, which is the metabolite of Celexa. I was willing to try it, but my doctor decided Prozac first. So I'm just SUPER hoping it works.

Prozac has worked really well for my anxiety.
ION, argh. The miniblinds on my bedroom window, which had been literally hanging on by a thread, just fell off entirely. And my apartment is still too much of a mess for me to call the landlord about it. Well, I've got some curtains that I'd been meaning to put up eventually -- guess this is the time to do it. I hope that the tension rod I got actually works. (And I've got to hang them slightly below the top of the window, because I can't reach the top, even when I'm standing on my bed.)
