Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My doctor keeps telling me things like "There are people who have gotten rid of their diabetes by only eating 30 grams of carbs a day." I'm going to go off on him he brings that up again. I will not micromanage my relationship with food to that degree,.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I hope the Celexa or Prozac work, because those are super cheap and probably always covered.

It looks like we're giving Prozac a shot. God, I hope it helps without an allergic reaction or bad side effects. I feel so desperate.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I really hope it works, Teppy.

Steph, I don't know what the original drug is, but next time you get an expensive one, check that drug's website for coupons. I take Lyrica and it would normally be $65/month, but with their coupon it is $25. Much more manageable. I tried the generic, thanks to a demand from my insurance, and the side effects were bad.

Crossing my fingers for your Prozac. It has really helped Jack (yes, the dog is on Prozac). But seriously, I know a bunch of people who take it with great results.

Even with the manufacturer's coupon, it was over $250. I just can't do that right now. Not unless there are literally no other choices.

I hate that the generics are so much cheaper but sometimes so much worse even with the same main ingredient.

Oh my giddy aunt, seriously??? How is that even conceivably workable on a monthly basis. "Hey my depression is gone. And so is my house, my car, every belonging I have ever owned. But my brain isn't telling my lies anymore." Ugh.

Once again, go Prozac, help Teppy.

Prozac was good for me, it just made me sleepy, which is why I ended up on Celexa.

My doctor was a little concerned about Celexa since I had an allergic reaction to Lexapro, which is the metabolite of Celexa. I was willing to try it, but my doctor decided Prozac first. So I'm just SUPER hoping it works.
