My ankle is hurting a lot, and I need to concentrate on getting some work done, but I can't concentrate, because my ankle is hurting too much. And I don't have painkillers, because I was late in calling the doctor's office to get a new prescription, because my phone anxiety has been through the roof this week. (I managed one phone call to Portman's office, about the health care bill, and stumbled and stuttered through leaving a message. Also managed to call dr about the painkillers this morning, and talked to a very perky receptionist who kept saying, "Oh, fishsticks!" when she messed something up.)

So annoyed that every time my aunt wants to talk to me, it's to Start Shit. And that she does it girly style so that if I took the bait, she could act like she wasn't doing anything. I'm at my nephew's swim meet. It's not bad. Next week is the finals and there will be 5 teams and at a fancy place that always feels cramped. I will go because it's the finals and I want to support E. It may be the only thing I do for 3 days.

I've been seeing more of the guy. Mostly just hanging out, playing video games etc. We saw Baby Driver. He is fun and we have fun.

I am baking bread-well proofing dough right now-I need to keep a bigger supply of yeast and possibly some more interesting flours. I am experimenting by adding some here's DE Provence to thus batch.

I mowed part of the yard after arguing that I could do it. It's hard work and strenuous and hot so of course my 74 yr old mother says she should because it would be too difficult for me (physically ...and I wonder why I feel incapable of doing things a lot).

There is a fire pit with wood in it and next to it. Ants have taken up under the wood next to it. Mom sprayed the ants with ant killer and then was going to burn the wood in the fire pit.

I didn't think it was a good idea. I may be over cautious but it just seemed like a bad idea at least for a few hours.
