Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Sage advice sj. Once I finish my current project, I'm signing off for the day. I'm ready to take a nap.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time, Suzi. Hugs. I'm glad it's a bit better today.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Naps are good. I was just about to take one but ltc already seems to be waking up from hers.

Thanks, Pix. I feel like I've done a bunch of things this morning - updated my hair color, showered, worked a half day, and have been able to walk without a crutch or relying on walls for support. Things I can't do yet - bend over/squat without pain.

I've submitted my timesheet for the week. I have a new class starting on Monday, so my plan for the afternoon is to nap and start reading my text book. I may not remember the details, but hopefully I'll remember the big picture stuff.

hip deep in pie

I threw out my back on Wednesday bending down to empty out the dehumidifier, (I didn't even pick it up!) and for some reason, I only got muscle relaxants tonight. What was I thinking?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have a stability ball at my desk at work. 1) It cost $25 which is wayyyyyyy cheaper than a good office chair that would be comfortable as well as commodious enough for my delicate posterior; 2) I can take breaks to do stretches for the benefit of my piriformis; 3) wiggling around on it while working seems to prevent a boatload, or should I say buttload, of stiff-and-sore-ness when I get up. I highly recommend sitting on stability balls while working.

One drawback is in humidity, it can get kind of sweaty in a way that fabric upholstery does not.

ETA Sue, Suzi, everybody in pain, I wish you ease and improvement.

I am having not-quite coping. I'm having my second period since I started taking lexapro three and a half weeks ago. I can say that it is champion of toning down the PMS rage/anxiety (not quite coping is dead brilliant comparatively) that I've had with my cycles the last year-ish. Hasn't touched the deep resentment at having another period in less than a month when I was not expecting it for a couple of months, oddly enough.

Thrive to spite them

I'm at my nephew's swim meet. First one I've been to this year. I forgot to bring ear buds to listen to music. It's already too much noise.

I can't leave. Well I could but I don't think I could find parking we were late and it was already tricky.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I hope everyone's doing as well as can be this morning.

Andi, they make stability ball covers, so you don't have to stick to them: [link]

Peanut woke up at 5, and I managed to get her back down, but now I'm up. Usually that would be okay, since I work Saturday mornings, but I took this Saturday off. Ah, well. more time to screw around on the interwebs.

Happy screwing around, juliana.

It did not occur to me that I could make a cover for it. Hmmm...

askye, I wish relief and tolerance.

Our wings are not tired.

My current working setup is a big comfy chair with my computer on a side table and keyboard and mouse on a laptop board. I am using the ball from my stability chair loose as a footstool. It works great because of the soft bounce factor.
