-t, it's unfortunate you have to deal with this, but it sounds like there could be some positivity from the move. I hope so. And I'm sorry you have to leave your coworkers, where you've become somewhat comfortable.
Change is just hard.
'Bushwhacked'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Ugh, -t, I'm sorry you're dealing with that
Jeez, -t, that sucks.
So the area in PR my family rented a house over Xmas in the late 90s is under emergency evacuation orders because a dam is in imminent danger of failing ( near Isabela.) I'd been google map viewing it today because I wondered how it was faring. Now I know. Uhg.
Because bus cranky for today, I called a white dude out for being an entitled asshole in the pool. He slunk off, but he probably wrote me off as a crazy bitch. I swear to god, if there's 2 or more white guys in the lap lanes, one is bound to piss me off demonstrating entitlement.
Epic, I'm so sorry. this has been so hard
-t, best of luck
And why didn't they do it themselves? It was "Read Only."
Oy and vey.
-t, work stress is stressful. Added commute time would be a dealbreaker for me. But I've never had a rough commute with any of my job/living locations, so there is that. Today I had to drive 30 minutes to the office and it really wasn't that bad. I think it is more the idea of it. Again, my take for me. I think if I had a decent public transportation option, I'd take advantage of the time and read or finally listen to a podcast or 10.
I hope they are open to the title adjustment, giving up pay and off hours time should have some benefit beyond "you still have a job so live with it".
I think we could slowly but surely take over the whole place.
I need to plan an exploratory visit before a subscribe to your newsletter.
He slunk off, but he probably wrote me off as a crazy bitch.
Oh well. As long as he crawls back into his entitled hole and stays there, whatever.
Epic, I'm so sorry. So many hugs.
-t I just read back. UGHHHH
Loki is clawing at my face, trying to steal bites of this spinach and feta croissant. And here come Pumpkin.
And now I need to shower, cause I just rolled out of bed & went to market & I have eight million stops to make this errand run and I'm totally too grungy/not awake enough to cope with that yet.
I was out of milk for coffee and ended up making a run to the local hippie co-op first thing, nabbing a few other things while I was there. (Pre-coffee shopping--I can't wait to see what I actually bought after the caffeine kicks in.) Good thing I went early. There's a music festival and the Big Game with the local college's main rival here this afternoon, so getting around is gonna be a fuster cluck. This looks like a good day to do the rest of my running about in the small town 15 miles away.
