Those plastic animal barrettes. CLEARLY.
CLEARLY.
How weird is it that, I feel kind of weird about paying so much attention to Steve's arc in a Captain America movie? Sigh.

I'm pretty sure there's fic with that. I should see if Ao3 has a Bucky's Hair tag.
edit: yep, Bucky Barnes' Hair.
Spent my day watching Winter Soldier, Ant Man, and now the first Avengers.
Gonna go rewatch Civil War on Wednesday afternoon, I think. Saw it yesterday for the first time, need to see again. Probably should rewatch Ultron, haven't seen it since the one time I saw it in the theater last year. Though I think I remembered the important Wanda, Vision, and Tony beats from it to have gotten through. I'm ok with not really remembering Black Widow's stuff in Ultron, though, I believe. Bah, Ultron.
Manbuns are tools of the devil. I will accept a good half up/half down or well-groomed ponytail. No barrettes. Really, the whole Bucky hair situation would be much improved if he just washed it. Get you some Prell, boy. That greasy hair is not the business.
I have nothing deep to say about CA:CW. I enjoyed it. Cap is pretty. That's all I got right now.
People are being WRONG ON THE INTERNET about things again.
Like, siding-with-Tony-on-Wanda levels of wrong.
Plus! I keep being amazed at how differently people are taking what the answer was to the conversation regarding "Did you know?" A lot of people are taking it to mean Steve admitting he knew it was Bucky, where I and a lot of other people took it to mean, "Yes, I knew my friend, your father, had been assassinated." with a subtext of "and I didn't want to look at it too closely, which is why I didn't tell you." Those who are taking it to mean the former are really kind of bitchy about it and accusing people of reading it as the latter of being liars. NEED TO STOP READING MEME, SELF. NEED TO STOP READING MEME.
Damn, this fandom is wanky.
I want fic, but not enough to go wade through AO3.
I want fic, but not enough to write it. Plus, for good or for ill, I now am in the boat of Opinions on Favorite Characters Now So Strong Most Fic Won't Work. (Seriously, I am especially in this boat with Natasha. I mean, it was bad before, but now it is worse. Nat fic by writers I have previously enjoyed writing Nat isn't working for me. BAH!)
[link] this comment is so charming to me.
Okay, I gotta go back and see the movie again, just to see Bucky throw Steve. It must have happened so quickly I missed it with all the other visual input happening.
That whole comment thread is a thing of beauty.
Yeah, I have to see it again to catch all the stuff I missed the first time!
Only seen it twice, but... do we see anyone's personal living space other than Bucky's (forced out of) and Wanda's (locked into)?
I'm making a list of things to note the next viewing.
now I want to contrast the way that Steve enters Wanda's room with the way Vision does. This is also on the next-viewing list.
