In the end it's only ever been one step, and then the next.

Hope he gets swallowed up by the Hex and turned into a weasel or snake in the final episode.

If the circus is still around, a handy cannon is right there . . . .

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well

My immediate reaction is that I think that was good and they made good narrative choices etc but that was not the ending that serves me best this morning. Wil let it simmer a while before I react any more, I think.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I think that my only solid reaction at this point is that I wanted the ME monster to appear and say "I need a hug" at the end. I still do.

Edited: tried to do something that might have required spoiler font, but I'm apparently too tired for basic HTML right now so will be posted later.

"I yam what I yam and that's all what I yam," -- Popeye

I enjoyed that. Several twists I did not see coming.

I cried, but I do that more easily now.

I had not heard of the Ship of Theseus before. I learned the idea as "This is my grandfather's axe. My father replaced the head, and I replaced the haft."

ETA: Ha! The reference to it in WandaVision has already been added to the Wikipedia article for it.

after-end credit scene

I did not understand the setup part of that, although it was very pretty. The reveal made sense, though.

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

From Age of Ultron until now is roughly 6 years, which might be the longest goddamn origin story for a superhero I've ever seen. Even Oliver Queen became the Green Arrow in less time.

Really fucking disturbing how Hayward didn’t hesitate to shoot 2 10-year-olds and a Black woman.
