Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

'Unleashed'

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

What is even happening?

Wow, that's beautiful. I wanted to send it to Colin, but then I felt like an ass. [link]

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Allyson, what was the ita quote from today, if you recall? I am telling a friend about her.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Ginger, if you're collecting things for an ita book, I think this post is something her parents would love to see: § ita § "The Great Write Way" Oct 19, 2004 11:12:00 am PDT.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Thanks, Teppy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Everyone who knew her wants to make everyone who didn't know about it and wish they had; we all just want to grab everyone and say, "Look. Look. Here she was. Her she is. How unlikely is she? But she is."

Yes. Yes.

After I told my mother, the next day I saw that she had the Vampire People book out, so I pointed her to "Safe Harbor," and then today I got a condolence note from my aunt, so clearly my mother told her, too. I was surprisingly moved by all of that.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

later I'll be posting pictures of what they're not taking, for those of you who want to keep a piece of her and the things she loved

That's lovely of you. I'm glad the day was easier than expected.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am trying to remember who I have already given Vampire People to so I can now give copies to everyone else I know to help explain. I guess it wouldn't hurt to double up if I remember wrong.

Good job, boss of Lee. That was touching to read.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The best of hair, so many have it here right now.

If there are momentos, I'd like one. My stepmom keeps finding small things my dad had and each makes me miss him but also have a *thing* that will always keep him close.

I don't know if this is too me and I've waffled on posting for about a day but I have some back/spinal issues. And once I had medical coverage available to me, I've tried addressing them. I'm sad every single time my pain is acknowledged and they try to help because I know ita didn't end up having that. I'm a little freaked because we're going from steroid injections to an MRI showing that an evolving issue would hopefully be better resolved by a series of epidurals that I need to schedule and hopefully it won't go surgical. I nearly cried at the ortho yesterday, not because he told me baddish news, but because he acknowledged that there was serious pain and he wanted to help. The fact that he told me baddish news half hit later and will fully soon. But he told me that my pain was real and he could see the cause. Then he tried to help. I'm grateful and I hate ita couldn't find that.

And also, yes, let us know when there's another place to donate for encouraging women to rock in less female-dominated spaces. I definitely want to give again to that
