And also, yes, let us know when there's another place to donate for encouraging women to rock in less female-dominated spaces. I definitely want to give again to that
ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
Oh, Cass.
I'm glad you are getting support/relief and glad you decided to post that. Because yeah.
Jesus, this is all settling in as to how real this is now. This is actually a thing that has happened and ita isn't here at all anymore. No.
I finally told my close friend who lost her sister (also in her mid-forties) suddenly last year. It made it more real for me.
Allyson, if you are reading, she really commiserates with you telling her mother and hearing a sound you will never forget. She was the one who found her sister and had to tell her mother and she is thinking of you and Polgara and Kristen and Burrell. She says that she has heard it too, and it is hard.
That article was wonderful, as was the picture. Thanks for posting it.
I'm glad that everyone who is having to take care of ita's affairs right now has the support of others who feel the same. I'm glad no one has to do it alone.
And they are being fairly unsentimental about much of the fandom stuff, so they want to know if y'all want anything--LotR playing cards, Crow collectible cards, dvds, shoes, books, etc.
Oh man, make sure they know the Legolas/LotR knives were a gift from us and not to be tossed away. And, of course, her ita action figure needs a home (DXM made it).
And her class protector medal.
THey loved the knives, swords, and the action figure and took them. There's a big pile of things we think the Buffistas would like. Found her Buffistas Security tshirt signed by Joss. No idea what to do with it.
THey loved the knives, swords, and the action figure and took them.
Yay!
Allyson, what was the ita quote from today, if you recall? I am telling a friend about her.
My brain is Jell-O soup, so forgive me if I botch it:
The bitterness of poor quality will soon replace the sweetness of a low price.
