I woke up half an hour before my alarm and decided to just go with it, which meant a leisurely time at the gym and getting to work about 15 minutes early. Just for my own peace of mind I am trying not to actually start working until my usual start time...

My dad is still in hospital, but all his tests came back negative. They're still proceeding with his hip replacement on Tuesday and they're going to keep him in the hospital until then.

ION, when I was flossing this weekend, a piece of tooth or enamel filling came out of my mouth. I kind of forgot about it in all the hubaloo, but it's getting uncomfortable when I bite down. So it's off to the dentist tomorrow for me.

ION, I'm sure you were all waiting anxiously for an update on my tablet situation.

Without even taking it out of the box, having bought a hammock yesterday makes me want a tablet! Maybe I can just borrow my mother's iPad, though. Or -- god forbid -- struggle through with my smartphone and paper books.

Hammock + tablet is pretty sweet, although hammock + paperback has it's own retro charm. Hooray hammock!
