Just a quick Folly update: she appears to be in the Resting Comfortably stage of dying. I do not anticipate her rallying, but she also seems very peaceful and I think taking her to the vet would cause more distress than letting her pass here.
The vet did give an explanation for the blood in her stomach. He had given her some aspirin to treat her heart.

So the person who's working on my mother's insurance was supposed to call at 10, but got caught up in some drama and didn't call until 12:30.
